Colombia is a country of vibrant cultures, traditions, and identities. Each region carries its own pride, customs, and artistry. At times, these differences have fueled a sense of rivalry—but at Estilombia, we see them as opportunities for unity.

Guayabera de las Flores was created to celebrate that unity. This collection is inspired by two powerful subcultures in Colombia: the Costeño tradition of the guayabera, a timeless garment of elegance and tropical pride, and the Paisa heritage of Feria de las Flores, Medellín’s iconic festival of flowers and craftsmanship. Two regions, two stories, one piece—brought together to reflect a Colombia that is stronger when its cultures unite.

At Estilombia, we believe in learning directly from the roots of each garment. Our team spent time along the Caribbean coast, in Barranquilla and Santa Marta, studying the artistry that keeps the guayabera alive. From material selection and pattern making to embroidery techniques and cultural accuracy, every step in the process revealed the depth of mastery behind this iconic shirt. Each detail carries history; each stitch carries meaning.

With this foundation, we set out to design a guayabera that stays true to its coastal heritage while introducing elements that connect to today’s Colombia. The cut, the feel, and the essence remain faithful to tradition. But new features—contemporary embroidery placements, modern sizing, and a dedication to Medellín’s Feria de las Flores—bring fresh life to the design.

The result is the Guayabera de las Flores: not just a garment, but a story stitched together by two cultures. It is a reminder that even in our differences, we can find beauty in unity.

Estilombia Pa’l Mundo

The Guayabera de las Flores represents more than fashion—it represents the spirit of Colombia. By uniting Costeño and Paisa traditions into a single piece, this collection honors heritage while reimagining it for the world today.

At Estilombia, our mission is to showcase the beauty of Colombian culture through clothing that tells a story. Every design is an invitation to celebrate identity, community, and craftsmanship. With this guayabera, we continue our journey of bringing Colombia’s traditions to the global stage—Estilombia pa’l mundo.
